Terms of Service

1. What BlitzLetter is

BlitzLetter (“we”, “our”, “the service”) is an AI-powered cover letter generation tool. By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. AI-generated content disclaimer

All cover letters generated by BlitzLetter are produced by an AI language model. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output for accuracy, truthfulness, and appropriateness before submitting to any employer. BlitzLetter makes no warranties about the suitability, quality, or accuracy of generated letters for any specific application.

The Humanise feature rewrites your letter so that it reads as though a person wrote it. It is separate from the optional voice matching feature, which mirrors your own writing style when you provide a sample. We make no representation or guarantee about the results of any AI-detection tool, whose behaviour varies and changes over time. You accept this limitation by using the feature.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use BlitzLetter to:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier usage limits
• Automate or scrape the service programmatically beyond its intended use
• Generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, or misrepresents your credentials
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a standalone service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI prompts or system logic

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions without notice or refund.

4. Subscriptions and billing

All paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe, which handles all card data. We never see or store it. Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing. Cancelling stops the next payment; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to the Free plan.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: we do not refund as a matter of course, but we will refund where the service did not work as it should; a full refund immediately cancels the subscription and returns the account to the Free plan.

Monthly letter limits reset on the 1st of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC and do not roll over. If a payment fails, we retry it; access continues while Stripe retries and ends if the subscription is ultimately cancelled.

5. Intellectual property

You own the cover letters generated using your CV and job description inputs. BlitzLetter retains ownership of its platform, AI system design, prompts, templates, and branding.

6. Limitation of liability

BlitzLetter is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including lost employment opportunities, however caused, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
